Sahar's Story

These miles underneath my belt they don't mean a thing, to me [oh oh oh]

They built a wall straight through my home I'll climb underneath, for you [oh oh oh]

Hate has burned inside my eyes, as blood rained down, take it away [oh oh oh]

Chorus:
In my dreams [oh oh oh],
Above olive trees,
Bullets turn to doves,
With songs of peace
With songs of love

Their guns waving in my face, tell me if I come, or if I go [oh oh oh]

For centuries this holy land, raped and ravished through, I weep [oh oh oh]

The bullets flying over me, flames in my chest, beg me "run!" [oh oh oh]

Chorus

Echoes the Call to Prayer, I'm on my knees, do you hear? [Oh oh oh]

As I stare in his eyes, I know you've helped me come, to love...my enemies

Glazed

The world in their pocket it screams, it screams,
relentless it begs for all their time,
thoughts are dulled by the screen, the screen,
it eats their soul alive,

As their mouths are erased, lost in cyber space,
will the children ever learn to speak again?
A generation lost, at its own cost

Do they see the wind move the leaves, the leaves,
or watch the birds dance in the sky,
do they feel the movement of the sea, the sea,
or beauty that makes you want to cry,

As their hearts start to fade into cyber space,
will the children ever learn to love again?
a generation occupied by its own pride

Deaf to the words of the wise, the wise,
its all in the palms of their hands,
they say they have opened their eyes, their eyes,
but to see is not to understand

As their eyes are glazed fixed on cyber space,
will the children ever learn to see again?
A generation blind, Humanity is dying.
